v0.1-0 changelog
Good day fellow couriers!
I bring post-jam tweaks and tidings. Today's small patch brings some balancing changes, some input changes, and a bunch of small polish items. If you're keen to play end-of-jam builds, they're still available, and are marked as such on the download page.
On the visual polish front, the HUD will now display collected packages, and destination markers will now be sorted above the HUD for more visibility.
Entering or leaving the main menu now has a fancy transition, as does dying and respawning. The main menu also has some nice clouds around the edges.
A lot of zfighting has been fixed, villager sprite positioning has been tweaked to be more consistent with package sprites, and the player no longer gets stuck in the deliver package pose when leaving a villager before completing delivery.
For gameplay, passing vertically through air streams is now easier, and momentum after leaving an air stream is preserved for longer, making it eaisier to move across the playspace via air streams.
Climbing and descending is no longer a momentary action, meaning that these inputs can be held down over time for more smooth control over ascent and descent.
Falling into a villager after running out of fuel will now slow your descent automatically.
Using thrust for tiny adjustments is now easier and costs less fuel.
Enjoy!
