Very Very Very Early Bonesweeper Test Builds
Note: This is an archive of a devlog originally posted to Patreon. Since then, the working title of Bonesweeper has been retired, and I now post about development on Mastodon and share devlog videos/stream to Spectra.video.
Hi people!
Here's a [Patreon supporter] link to entirely untested very early test builds of the "full version" of Bonesweeper.
Since I have another stakeholder in this project, I've decided to require an Itch account so that I can keep track of how many copies have been claimed by patrons in case I end up needing to report on that. Apologies to anybody who's inconvenienced by this.
So far, we've got:
- 2 skeletons (plus the rad testodon)
- 2 placeholder avatar skins
- 2 placeholder flags
- Functional map, dig, and assembly phases
- Temp museum for reviewing assembled skeletons
- Placeholder sound effects
- TTS gameplay for menus, as well as map, dig, and assembly phases
- Practice modes for dig and assembly
- Multiple player profile support
- Maybe some other stuff \o/
There's a testing_notes.txt file, but it's pretty barebones right now (ho ho ho). There's also an in-game test notes interface, but I haven't populated that with anything useful yet.
Enjoy. I'm going to bed \o/
